During Go/No-Go, it was decided that we were going to go the route of creating a plug-in for NX 10 instead of creating a Standalone Application. This was highly recommended as the preferred solution for our sponsor.

We are currently becoming more familiar with the SNAP (Simple NX Application Programming) API and its capabilities. We reached out to a team of students more experienced in programming so that they will be able to help guide us during the duration of the project.

Not going the route of creating a standalone application did set us back a little bit, as we already had a Windows executable mockup, which would have been a good framework to expand and build code into, but we have adapted our plan to the current schedule and needs of our sponsor, GE Aviation.

Currently, we are having issues with the SNAP interface and libraries, so we are working with Kevin Brooks to resolve the issues. Once these issues are resolved we will be able to fully work on the programming side of our project.
